Considering my direct experience in the field of restoration of paintings on canvas and panel, you might be interested in an itinerary dedicated to the latest advanced restorations in Venice.  

The world of conservation of works of art is intriguing for everyone. Why does a painting appear dark? Is what we see original? What does a restorer do to ensure the correct conservation of artworks? You will have the opportunity to ask your questions to a professional restored while admiring some masterpieces. 

The place of conservation can be chosen by you yourself based on your interests and curiosities. The Church of San Sebastiano and the Church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari are recommended.
